We had the good fortune of connecting with Cienna Johnson Casseus and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cienna, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I have learned how to balance my work life by organizing and prioritizing my time. Running a small business can be challenging. The most important factor is time management. It goes back to the saying, “preparedness meets opportunity”. When I organize and prioritize my time, I am able to enjoy my work and personal life.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have recently changed Bougee Bowtique LLC by adding face masks to the items that are sold. With the corona virus pandemic, I wanted my business to adapt with the current environment. I am most excited about the response I have received for selling the face masks. I have learned that networking and being engaged with others can really help my business to grow. I want people to know that my brand will continue to evolve and more is on the way.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
If a friend were visiting, I would take them to Kennesaw area. We would visit Swift Cantrell Park. I enjoy the fresh air and the nice park. We would go to restaurants off of Barrett Parkway. We could enjoy a variety of different food. We would later go to Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta that are located in Woodstock. I enjoy these areas because it is laid back, relaxing, and entertaining.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shout out goes to my family. They are my biggest supporters and uplift me at all times. They have supported me since the beginning and I am so thankful for their love. I also appreciate the opportunity that VoyageATL presents. I am thankful for this chance to present myself and my small business.
