Hi DON, what role has risk played in your life or career?
The courageous take Risk, The cowardly lives a life of uncertainty. Chose your side. In the end what we regret most are the risk we never took. With business, being an entrepreneur isn’t all about starting a business, its about seeing a world of opportunity, instead of a being at the bottom of a chain of command. Taking on obstacles while others take refuge behind a clock. It’s either a promotion on French Fries or a Promotion of from the ordinary 9-5. In life we often wonder if we did just that one thing differently, would it have changed our lives from the for the better. As, an entrepreneur I’ve learned that being “self made self paid” creates a larger revenue because your income never sleeps. Opposed to waking up to a hourly waged job where your hours are limited and scheduled to keep an overhead and spending cost down. Programmed for the same routine over and over until you’re too old to remember that you were supposed to live. Many of us have not seen the world, sadly many of us have not found our purpose or who we truly are at our highest potential. In order to change that you must unplug yourself from the machine that keeps you a sleep. Follow your instincts, take a chance to change your life. Never take no for an answer, and only take losses as lessons. Risk Takers win in life we don’t fear the downsides but we uplift the reward. For the reward is far greater than a simple lesson.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve created multiple streams of revenue from adult entertainment, acting, stunts, music, internet, radio, clothing, construction and agricultural development. What set me apart from others, is the drive and ambition to take challenges head on and never give up. While others quit, I’ve continued on. I’m excited about my children and the life and legacy that they will be raised into. Success does not come without humility, humbleness, sleepless nights, and risk taking. No success story came easy, you must rise from the bottom and form something from out the mud. In order to overcome these challenges and obstacles you must continue to strive for what you believe in especially when you have babies to feed. I’ve learned money is a tool, it does not define the success of a person, and wisdom does not only belong to the old, but those that fear God or a higher power. To the world DONKINGJR is here and is here to stay.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I do more in a day than most would do in a week. Networking in the city of Atlanta and across the country is imperative. In the mornings you got to hit the Black Owned Breakfast and Brunch spots. The Breakfast Club Atlanta, Gocha’s Breakfast Bar, Breakfast at Barneys, Twisted Soul Cookhouse, and Negril Village just to name a few. After Breakfast or Brunch we got to burn off the Calories of Endless Mimosas and Waffles so its to the Mall, I live in the Buckhead Area seconds away from Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall, after getting a couple fresh outfits its time to get ready for the day parties. Pending on which day of the week, its some star studded events throughout the city of Atlanta. Oak Lounge, Suite Lounge, Edgewood Bars and Lounges, and you can’t forget the Atlanta Strip Club scene. I like to “Bar Hop” from place to place take pictures or videos with Atlanta’s Finest. After the Club Brunch, Day Parties, and Strip Clubs, there’s only a few places left to go, and the After Hour Spots are where its at. Club Rumors, The Cave, Blue Ivory, and Members Only just to name a few will keep you up until 6am. So, if you ever wonder why I wear shades its because I haven’t seen Daylight in roughly 8 hours, Partying with me isn’t for the square.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In recognition to my success, I would like to thank those who said I would fall off year after year. 20 years later they’ve only lost weight waiting for me to fall off. Now, 2021 has marked a year of winners and losers. If you haven’t figured it out by now then you’ll probably never will. I want to dedicate this shoutout to those who said I wasn’t the figure of my own success. I also, want to thank my Father, the man who raised me up to be fearless, and relentless.
