We had the good fortune of connecting with Tanesha L Matthews and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tanesha L, What do you think about Risk?
I’m definitely a risk taker. I’ve tried out several careers just to see if I have a passion for them. If I’m bored easily after trying that career out I try something different. I also lived in different places, moving around. If all fails, I dust myself off and try again. I never been afraid to start over no matter how if may look to someone on the outside looking in. I’ve failed at several things in my life by taking risks, but I also got back up and started over. Some people may look at it as failing and that’s why they don’t take that risk because they’re afraid what others may think of them, but not me. I will try no matter how long it takes. That’s how I’ll reached my goal because of that. I never worry about what someone thinks about me. This is my life.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the Founder/CEO of Endow’d Intimates and a Certified Bra Specialist. “The Bra Whisperer”. Endow’d Intimates is a start up bra line company I’m developing and creating for the generously well -endowed women. I’m creating a better bra line for women in this area because due to the lack of supportive bras that’s out there now, women that are well-endowed have been long overlooked for attractive and functional lingerie. I want to change all that. In the interim, I’ve also become a certified bra specialist to all women in all sizes because a lot of women still struggle to find the right fit. Since I’ve became a bra specialist, I’ve been contacted by several women throughout the U.S and International reaching out to me for assistance What sets me apart is my creativity and my passion for others. I’m a person who aims for satisfaction and make sure the customer and/or client is happy. I want to make sure they’re please with their services. The product and service I want to provide has to be “A” one. I always put myself in the customers shoes. I’m proud and excited about how far I’ve come and my creative mind. I love how I can develop things and it turns out exactly how I want it. Nothing is easy. I ‘m still in the developing stage of creating my bra line and working on my brand, I just set forth and continue to keep going. I will launch no matter how long it will take me to do this. I’ve faced and continue to face many challenges, even with people whom is trying to stop me because they don’t want me to succeed. I’m here to say nothing will stop me. I’ve learned that you can’t invite everyone in your life and share your dreams to everyone because someone will try to take advantage of you. I had to learned that the hard way not to trust so easily. I want the world to know that my brand will be helping woman across the world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I lived in Atlanta, GA and it’s so many places , I really wouldn’t know where to start, but first I would give them a history tour of Atlanta, then I would take them to the most famous spots to eat. It would be a history lesson of Atlanta, GA. It would be for the both of us because even though I’ve been here for, it’s still a lot of history for me to learn as well, We would be learning together.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First I would like to shoutout my mother Juanita Matthews who at a very early age taught me to be an independent woman. Growing up, my mother prepared me for life and what a career may possibly look like. I want to first thank her for that because she always wanted me to be independent and go after for what I want. I also want to thank all the professors in my Masters in Entertainment Business Program at Full Sail University. Each program taken during the course of that one year prepared me for how I wanted to go about moving forward in creating and developing my businesses. It brought out the creativity in me. I had a lot of support of reaching out to the professors for words of encouragement. I also want to shoutout all the close people in my life that continuously support me and continuing to cheer for me until I reach my goal and let me know to keep going despite the negativity that try to disrupt my life.
