We had the good fortune of connecting with Drea Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Drea, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?

Networking is a big contributing factor in my growing business. Not being afraid to put myself out there and talk to people has help me open door for my business in many different aspects. Using social media to connect and network as well as in person at any event I’m booked for!!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I’m a true Hustler at heart, I know the better term is Entrepreneur but the hustle has to be in you to be an entrepreneur. From hustles to businesses From a hustler to a businesswoman, I never wanted to be boxed in by just doing one thing so i do many things vinyl printing @clarityprints, clothing line @beyourownboss777, and last but definitely not less Bartending @anabartending! Bartending is my passion I’m able to express myself creatively through my drink all while making my clients enjoy their experience for booking with us! As a bartender i have many different hats, we are our clients friends, therapist, party buddies and so much more. I just enjoy making sure people are having a good time and it feels good to be able to be one of the people apart of that experience for them. Booking with @anabartending not only makes your event great but also ensures guests satisfaction with the quality drinks and Top Tier customer service!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Ponce Market for food and roof top activities on a warm sunny day it’s a great place for a date or family day!! Great brunch spots: Breakfast at Barney’s, Gocha’s, Atlanta breakfast club, and Toast on lenox to name a few and they’re all black owned!! Private chefs: @chefkodak, @_itsmeyunnn, @cyaskitchen, and @happyhourcuisine Lounge spots: Cru, Sivas, Atlantis, fellaship Atlanta is always providing people with things to do. This is a place full of good food and fun !!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

I would first like to recognize my mother (Ecra) for creating the hustle in me to be able to turn these hustles into businesses by making me business minded and independent at a young age. Secondly I’ll like to recognize my brother (Dion) for pushing me to bartend and paying for my schooling to make sure i put our plans into actions and always supporting any idea i have!! Thirdly I’ll like to thank my sister (Asia) for being my partner in our business A&A Bartending and handling the business side while i handle the networking and social media side!! Teamwork !!
