Meet Toi Kyles: CEO & Designer of Indigoz shoes

We had the good fortune of connecting with Toi Kyles and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Toi, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business has taught me is to believe in myself and when you catch wind of a opportunity for your business do not wait for the opportunity to be concrete prepare for it now so your always one step ahead and always prepared when the opportunity is presented to you.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Indigoz shoes is a patent pending ( on our insoles) shoe company that caters to men and women you can find our store online at Www.Indigoz.store. What sets us apart is that we offer a variety of styles that provide the maximum comfort. We are excited at Indigoz for the opportunities we have coming in the year of 2021 major advertising opportunities, our spring/summer line launch for men and women, and participating in the Nolcha shows( New York fashion week) and participating in the Flyingsolo fashion week (Paris). I got to where I am today from studying fashion, working in the Retail Industry and being mentored by fashion industry professionals, plus hard work and dedication. At times life happened when building the company but it did not discourage me, I learned what to do and what not to do and applied the lessons and moved forward stronger in the business. Always remembering there will be up’s and downs you just have to dust yourself off, do not give up, and continue pushing forward. Indigoz is a feel good company we want you to look good and feel good in our shoes and provide excellent customer service, we want to inspire others in the fashion industry and help create new designers inspiring to have their own fashion lines, we also want to give back to the communities by providing shoes to those who can not afford shoes and also mentor fashion and fine art students. Indigoz will become a household name and we look forward to a long lasting shoe shopping relationship with our customers.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Atlanta, and if a friend were to visit some of the things I would take them to do, would be, dinner at the wonderful restaurant Sweet Georgia Juke Joint with live entertainment and best soul food, then the next day we would climb stone mountain to work off the pounds we just added on from the night before, the following day. The next day, I would take them to the Georgia aquarium and then to lunch at the slutty vegan. The next day, I would definitely want them to experience some history so we would go to Martin Luther King’s childhood home and his famous church, Ebenezer Baptist church then we would go to dinner that night at Ray’s on the river a awesome seafood restaurant on the river. And on the last day we would go to the botanical gardens during the day and for the last day dinner do dinner at Park Taverns a wonderful restaurant at Piedmont park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yolanda Jackson, my creative director is my right hand man. With her Poetic Flow Productions company, she has created awesome promotional videos for the company, she has help put together Indigoz shoes Virtual Launch and she will help with future projects Indigoz shoes has coming up. I am so thankful and grateful for Yolanda’s creative abilities and she definitely deserves a shout out. “It takes a Village”
