Meet Imani M-Glover: Proprietress of The Lemonade Bar Beverage brand

We had the good fortune of connecting with Imani M-Glover and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Imani, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
One size doesn’t fit all, do you and see what works and then repeat what’s working .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love to create. When I say create I love to create stories. Tell people stories, allow them to tell their stories and I like to do it with film and televisions . 20 years ago I had my TV show in San Francisco called 1212 Lets Do this and I interviewed community activist, rap artist ,R&B artist and other types of celebrities. I was the host , the editor , director and producer until I was able to afford a team. Today I have a show called Car 🚗 chronicles and we focus on entrepreneurs. It’s in line with my beverage business The Lemonade Bar I’m able to support my brand while supporting other entrepreneurs through social media the show. I believe this helps me stand out because I’m doing something that I love and I’m creating positive change at the same time..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I reside in the Bay Area California in the first place I would probably take them to Fisherman’s Ward San Francisco.. we would visit Ghirardelli Square chocolate, write the cable car, ride down the crooked street. Then take them to Oakland California and we would have lunch. Everett and Jones and dinner at Malibu Burger. . We would then walk around Lake Merritt and enjoy the lights the night lights and water and burn off calories.The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others.
