We had the good fortune of connecting with Franiya Tiffany and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Franiya, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued a creative career because I’ve always loved storytelling and expressing myself through art. Acting, writing, and film have given me a way to connect with people and share meaningful stories. Being able to share this creativity has helped me grow, find my voice, and continue becoming the person I’m meant to be.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is rooted in storytelling, truth, and connection. Whether I’m acting, writing, or creating a film, I’m drawn to stories that feel honest and leave people with something to think about. I love exploring characters, emotions, and moments that people can connect with, especially stories that make others feel seen or inspired.

This journey has taught me that creativity is not just about talent; it’s about discipline, patience, and staying committed even when things aren’t easy. I want my work to represent heart, imagination, and the power of young voices telling meaningful stories.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’d plan a fun and simple day with good food, pretty views, and places that feel creative. I’d take them somewhere scenic, stop by a local café or dessert spot, and find a place where we could laugh, take pictures, and just enjoy the moment.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would dedicate my shoutout to my family, especially my mom, for being the foundation behind so much of my journey. Her support, encouragement, and constant belief in me no matter what have taught me how to stay grounded throughout my journey. I’m also grateful for every teacher, mentor, coach, and creative who has poured into me along the way. Their guidance has helped shape not only the artist I’m becoming, but the person I’m becoming.
