Meet Claudia Lundy | Tattoo Artist and Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudia Lundy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Claudia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Generally, I believe taking risks is necessary for growth. I believe this to be especially true when it comes to art and entrepreneurship. If I never decided to take the risk of failure when I started tattooing, I wouldn’t have the career I that love now.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The main medium I work in is tattooing, but I’ve always had my hands in different art forms. I started off studying film i’m college and working on drawings & paintings in my free time. Tattooing itself is a lifestyle that I was not expecting to delve into but was captivated it the moment I picked up my first machine. Between working in challenging environments and learning how to be the best businesswoman I can be, tattooing has been far from an easy journey.
I’m currently in my fourth year of my career and the lessons I’ve learned about myself, business, and art, have been invaluable. The main lesson I’ve learned is that consistency, education, and faith are truly the keys for success.
I want the world to know that I am a force to be reckoned with and I’m only growing better with time.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My go-to spot in the city for good food and drinks is Rreal Tacos, any location. To hang out and shop, Little 5 Points and Ponce City Market are my personal favorites. As far as attractions, the Georgia Aquarium never disappoints.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to my mom, of course, and my circle of artistic friends who show up for me time and time again.
