Meet Reedgion

We had the good fortune of connecting with Reedgion and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reedgion, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from Davenport, Iowa. But my family were in the military so we ended staying in Columbus, Georgia. That’s where I remember we weren’t the richest materialistic wise, but my mom who was a single mother by the way, made sure we had the best. She went above the call of duty for me and my little sister. Seeing my mom do that throughout our life growing up, taught me how to be persistent, humble and to always stay focused on what matters most, and let GOD handle everything else.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I practice close up magic. I’ve been performing for 15 years now. I grew up watching David Blaine and he’s my favorite magician.

What separates me from other magicians is the fact that I actually have worked years and years on the art of magic so much so that when people watch me perform it’s so mind blowing to see.

Was it easy? No, however I made a big adaptation to move very slow with my hands when I perform magic. I believe that is how magic is supposed to be presented and I only want to give the best experience when it comes to showing magic.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was with me, we probably would have to go to Florida, I’ve never been yet but I’ve always wanted to go to Miami honestly. I heard they have great food too.

I think we’d have to check out their clubs in Miami I hear they have fun atmospheres and that’s great by me being a magician too, I believe that’s another great location to have people experience magic.

Another state I want to go to is California.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Big shout out to my mom. Without her I wouldn’t be as committed as I am to following my dreams.

Also big shout out to my bro David he’s most definitely a positive and super talented dude, he’s a real one for sure.
