Meet Tristin Middleton

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Tristin Middleton again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Tristin, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m thrilled to reconnect and share more about my journey! I’m a professional chef specializing in catering and private chef services, delivering personalized culinary experiences that celebrate flavor, creativity, and hospitality. With years of experience in the kitchen, I’ve built my brand around providing unforgettable meals—whether for intimate gatherings, large-scale events, or one-on-one dining experiences.
What sets me apart is my commitment to tailoring each experience to the unique needs of my clients while drawing inspiration from diverse culinary traditions. Beyond my work as a chef, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with entrepreneurs, creating innovative partnerships that highlight the power of food to bring people together and inspire creativity.
From curating menus for exclusive events to building connections through my craft, my journey has been defined by passion, innovation, and a deep love for what I do. It’s been an exciting road, and I look forward to continuing to share my culinary story with others.

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
I’m delighted to reconnect and share the latest developments in my culinary journey. Since our last conversation, my path has been a tapestry of challenges and triumphs, all fueling my passion for the culinary arts.
Pursuing the Dream
Leaving a stable full-time career to chase my dream of becoming a chef was a daunting decision. However, I was driven by the desire to embody my ancestors’ wildest dreams, particularly honoring the culinary wisdom imparted by my grandmother. Her teachings have been the cornerstone of my craft, and I am committed to preserving and evolving these traditions for future generations.
Evolution of JCG
In line with this vision, I rebranded my venture to Just Cookin Greatness (JCG), reflecting a renewed commitment to excellence and authenticity in every dish. While our initial seasoning line didn’t achieve the success we hoped for, it was a learning experience that strengthened our resolve. We’re excited to announce that a relaunch is on the horizon, aiming to bring our unique flavors to a wider audience.
Expanding Services
JCG has diversified its offerings to include single-plate meals, comprehensive catering services, and personalized meal prep solutions. Hosting tasting parties has become a highlight, allowing us to engage directly with our community and receive invaluable feedback. Looking ahead, we’re planning pop-up shops to further connect with food enthusiasts and showcase our culinary creations.
Looking Forward
The journey has been filled with ups and downs, but each experience has been instrumental in shaping JCG’s identity. We’re enthusiastic about the future, with plans for pop-ups and collaborations that will continue to push the boundaries of our culinary offerings. Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for being part of this adventure.
