We had the good fortune of connecting with Shafara Virgo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shafara, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Definitely, my favorite affirmation is “I can do hard things” which I often personalize as “I, Shafara P. Virgo, can do hard things”. This affirmation is important to me because it reprograms my mindset, making difficult tasks achievable and eventually easy.”

What should our readers know about your business?
The Positive Empowerment Club (PEC) is a vibrant and inclusive community focused on personal growth, empowerment, and self-actualization. Our mission is to help individuals uncover and achieve their “why” to reach their fullest potential. Built on a foundation of empowerment, positivity, and holistic well-being, PEC is more than just a club—it’s a community dedicated to guiding people from all walks of life to discover their inner strength and embark on a transformative journey toward self-actualization.

What sets me apart is my commitment to meeting people where they are. I never look down on others unless I’m helping them up, and no matter how many challenges someone is facing, I’m always ready and eager to assist. I’m passionate about transformation—just like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, the process may be tough, but the outcome is incredibly rewarding. Similarly, in our own lives, the journey to where we want to be might not be easy, but the results are often remarkable if we embrace the process without rushing or skipping steps.

Reaching my current business success required immense hard work and dedication. The journey has been anything but easy, involving extensive research, marketing, and promotion. There were days when I felt overwhelmed and ready to give up, but in those moments, I turned to my affirmation statement—’I can do hard things.’ This mindset helped me persevere through the challenges, and despite the obstacles, I remained determined to overcome them.

I’ve learned many valuable lessons along the way, but the most significant one is that support often comes from unexpected places, not necessarily from those we know well. I want the world to know that Shafara Virgo is driven by a dream that goes beyond personal achievement—it’s about helping others realize their dreams too. Additionally, I want everyone to know that PEC is here to support you in turning your dreams into reality.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Great question! I’d begin at church, where being in God’s presence brings true joy. As a food enthusiast, I’d also want to dine at some exceptional restaurants. Checking in at an hotel would be a must for me. To top it off, I’d embark on a leisurely road trip, exploring without a set destination, taking photos, and creating lasting memories.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I want to give all honor and praise to God for making what seemed impossible, possible. I also want to send a special shoutout to the members of the Positive Empowerment Club (PEC) for trusting me as their coach to help elevate their lives—I’m their biggest fan. A heartfelt thank you to my family who believed in me and to everyone who cheered me on throughout this journey.
