We had the good fortune of connecting with Willie Calhoun and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Willie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I first started my business, I was young I was chasing a dream of the get rich quick scheme. I had no knowledge when I started and I definitely didn’t know what I was doing My motives was focused on the money. But then I met Jesus Christ and I devoted my time, my energy and my consistency and i started to proclaim the good news of his crucifixion. My thought process i spreading his word through put the nations is when he came to me and told me son in everything you do, do it for my glory. I had not known what to do but he gave me his word and then he told me let your gift make way for you. Now everything that I do, I devote my Brand to visually demonstrate the word of God.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a Christian clothing brand It is centered and inspired By the word of Jesus Christ.

I feel as if what sets me apart from others is the message of my Brand. If we look at the world around us, most people only inspire us by worldly luxurious messages, whether that is money, females, or Cars We are surrounded by things that are only temporary. But my Brand doesn’t promote that my brand promotes life It promotes the word of Jesus Christ, being that Christ said himself that he is the way, the truth, and the life the message that I put on my clothing I believe will lead people To know Jesus Christ into inspired him to receive him as Lord and savior.

The most thing that I am excited about is seeing the growth of others to come to know Christ. 1 million people can like my brand and I’m OK with that but if 1 million people come to me and tell me that my clothing brand inspired them to come to Jesus Christ that will make me ecstatic because I want to see the world receive life and make make it into the kingdom of heaven.

I am where I am today in my business because of God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but it was certainly not easy. There has been days where I had no food in my fridge. There has been days where I didn’t have enough money to pay my light bill, but I never gave up every disciple in the Bible, every apostle in the Bible went through far more than just not having food and lights, so I know that I can endure to the end.

I overcame my challenges because I trusted not only what God said to me, but I trust his promises that he’s giving me. He told me to write down the plans that he will show me and that it may not happen at the rate and speed that I wanted to happen, but it will happen in the right time he will exalt me

A lesson that I took away from all of this is keep going!!

In one thing that I want the world to know about me despite many mistakes I’ve made in my life despite my ups in my downs, my ends in my outs. Jesus Christ has my heart in one thing that I want people to know about my brand is that it is a life giver to those who receive it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend that will come and Visit I am most definitely taking him or her to the bodega to get a chop cheese

After the bodega, we have to hit up Six Flags or the slingshot arcade

In one thing that I would inspire him or her to drink is a Celsius from the convenience store or a mango flavored Boba
