We had the good fortune of connecting with Cydney Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cydney, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
One of the key habits that significantly contributed to my success is being consistent with specific tasks that align with my goals. By breaking down larger objectives into manageable daily actions and incorporating these into my routine, I maintained steady progress and built discipline. This approach allowed me to stay focused, adaptable, and accountable, ensuring that even small steps accumulated into significant achievements over time. Consistency, combined with continuous assessment and improvement, has been instrumental in turning my ambitions into reality.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud of how I never give up when obstacles are thrown in my path. Moving to Atlanta during the height of COVID to start grad school at Emory University was a significant challenge. While pursuing my studies, I also worked as a TA, chased my passion for acting, and held a full-time night job at Children’s Hospital. It was far from easy, but I had many talks with God, seeking strength and guidance, which helped me persevere.

Throughout this journey, I learned invaluable lessons about resilience, time management, and the importance of faith. I discovered that with determination and support, even the toughest challenges can be overcome. I want the world to know that my story is one of relentless dedication and unwavering faith. My brand embodies this spirit, striving to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter how daunting the path may seem.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the best the city has to offer. We’d start with brunch of course at Breakfast at Barney’s or Grits & Eggs Breakfast Kitchen, then explore the city. We would have to go to Ponce City Market and then the beltline. For a taste of the arts and a vibe, we’d visit the High Museum of Art for their High Frequency Fridays. Evenings we are getting cute and going to dinner at one of my favorite spots Rock Steady, where the Afro-Caribbean vibes and AMAZING food set the perfect mood.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my mom, who deserves a monumental amount of credit for where I am today. She has been there for me in every way from the very beginning, taking me to and from dance classes, accompanying me to countless Broadway auditions in New York, and helping me film and run lines for virtual auditions. She has invested in my passion by paying for dance and musical theater summer intensives and even helps me film content for my social media platforms—all while fighting breast cancer and multiple autoimmune conditions. She is the true epitome of a super mom who does it all, always my rock and number one supporter. Her unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in my journey. I am so blessed to have my mom by my side!
