We had the good fortune of connecting with Sharon Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sharon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to work for myself so this passion came from helping my grandmother in the kitchen on Saturday mornings or for the holidays , when I was a child . My granny’s the reason I’ve always wanted to be my own boss . I watched her sell dinners weekly to the local banks and the veterans hospital in Florida, she was called the neighborhood candy lady , my granny wanted something I watched her sell things to get it or my mother spoiled her , lol , but I watched her and I caught on , but , my drive to get here came from my mother Linda. , she put the hustle in me , I watched her work two jobs so me and my brother never wanted for anything

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started these businesses because my need to be my own boss was very important after having to divorce my first husband to due to , physical abuse and cheating , moving to Georgia from Florida was the catalyst to my career change , I had 5 mouths to feed and no child support coming in , so I had to make sacrifices and choices and after making to many sacrifices for other people’s company I decided to launch mine , a medical transportation business that I’ve since turned into a trucking company, and the worst part about it is hiring dependable over the road drivers , and after 4 years in I’m getting ready to switch to the construction side and buy dump trucks, that way my trucks can be home every night and I can possibly find dependable drivers . A year ago I decided to launch a online boutique name anshas , after me and my grandmothers first names Annie and Sharon (AnSha’s ), it’s slow traffic but I believe that it will pick up soon , my marketing team is amazing and they have some great things in the works , but my end goal for ANSHA’S is a brick and mortar location so my customers can see the quality of the cloths and products their getting , I sell amazing men and women clothes . This year I started a podcast named Fashionably Loud On Purpose after my love of Fashion and Christ , we discuss everything from Jesus to , love , to world news , to music , to mental health and the rising issues , it airs on Fuzion Radio and live on my YouTube channel of the same name Fashionably Loud on Purpose , please tune in . I’m getting ready to lastly launch my non profit focusing on my passion for mental health, spousal abuse , and domestic violence,it’s taken God and prayer to finally get me to talk about my pain , it launches in July so stay on the lookout on my socials for updates and news on that . I’d love to collab with other charities. Starting a business is never easy but your drive for success gotta be louder than your fear of failure, it gotta keep you up at night with strategies and plans to execute you becoming that boss you tell yourself in the mirror you gone be ever day and u gotta accept failure because it’s going to happen , it’s your hunger for that boss status that gotta make u hungry enough to fail and keep going , I failed several times before I got it right and even then I made mistakes , you gotta want it because that’s what got me here , many sleepless nights , many barely just enough days , many one more bill away from eviction or the lights being cut off , that drive to not fail got me in rooms I only thought about and still getting me in rooms and got me building businesses I can be proud of , stay tuned for my book . I have a lot to say !! I love Jesus and my faith and prayer life has gotten me a lot in my 43 years of living and it’s Him and my faith and his promises in his word that keep me in the game going . I owe my prayer life to my granny and my mother they instilled faith and the power of keeping God first and doing right by people in me and reaping what you sow , so I’ve always sowed good fruit to reap good fruit .and I live by those principles and that’s why people wonder why I am where I am , and it’s because of the God and the Drive and hustle HE put in me .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My daughter Aiyannia , she’s an amazing human being , she’s carrying my first grand baby and she’s still working a full time hospital job in the surgery center all while about to start RN school in the fall . She doesn’t know it but she keeps me sane. I look at her strength these days and months and recharge from that , I’ve had some dark days and didn’t even know a many days how I was gone get out of bed , going thru a divorce, but her text and funny messages got me through so I wanna spot light her as a amazing soon to be mother bushes a awesome daughter.
