We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaynaz Rich and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shaynaz, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite affirmation is only the strong survive. The quote often implies that resilience, adaptability, and perseverance are essential traits for success and survival in challenging situations. It suggests that those who possess strength, whether physical, mental, or emotional, are more likely to overcome obstacles and thrive.
What I like about this quote is its acknowledgment of the importance of inner strength and resilience. It encourages us to cultivate these qualities within ourselves to navigate life’s difficulties and emerge stronger. It also speaks to the idea that challenges are a natural part of life, and our ability to confront and overcome them defines our path forward.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Explore downtown attractions like Centennial Olympic Park and Georgia Aquarium. We would head to Ponce City Market for dinner at one of the trendy food halls. Visit the Atlanta BeltLine walk or bike along the trail, stopping at Krog Street Market for snacks. We could also explore the Battery Atlanta for food and drinks. We could take a morning hike at Piedmont Park or explore the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We would go shopping at Lenox Square or Phipps Plaza. And for the nightlife we would visit the strip clubs Onyx or Magic City to hang out. Departure from Atlanta with great memories!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My faith, family, and personal connections are central to my life and success. God provides spiritual guidance and strength, serving as a cornerstone of my beliefs and values. My late mother played a significant role in shaping who I am today, instilling important lessons and values that continue to guide me. My son represents hope, love, and the future, motivating me to strive for the best. My family provides unwavering support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging, fostering my growth and achievements. Together, these elements form the foundation of my story and contribute to my journey and accomplishments.
