We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Leavenworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When we first started Atlanta Pickleball Tournament (now Dink Tour) our first thought came after playing in a tournament for the first time. As partners, we both agreed we could do it better, have more fun, and create something both we would love and our friends would agree.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a business we remain steadfast in our growth by asking the right questions and being ultra-focused on providing an excellent experience for each of our guests!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite things to do and see around Atlanta are indulging in brunch spots like HomeGrown. Playing pickleball daily with friends and perusing the beltline on a sunny day. Also can’t forget to get my boogie on at MJQ in the night time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A big thanks to our friends and family for the continued support by helping us quickly spread the word and earn trust within the community of pickleball. We have been recognized and are super grateful, for the sponsorship from national pickleball brands such as Selkirk, Volaire, and Dink Destinations.
