We had the good fortune of connecting with Cameron Cullers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cameron, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business career has taught me was to Keep going. Times are going to get hard and you are the only one that can save yourself. So saddle up and get to riding out. The only enemy you have and the greatest opponent is yourself. Don’t fall to the negative vibrations.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have been playing the saxophone since I was 10 years old. I started my music career when I was 5 years of age. I learned my music from my father and was very proactive in music festivals and competitions. Playing throughout my life was more like a requirement. It wasn’t until later in life that I started to fall in love with the saxophone. I was never a person that waited for people to give me an opportunity. I just took it or created it. I would form my own bands and invest money into my own shows to get people to come out and be entertained. I love music and I feel that it is a direct connection to high vibrations. Music is healing and uplifting as I went through life through my own turmoil I found how to apply music to raise my vibrations and get me.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this issue to all of my students. Kindergarten through College. I am a living testament to applying your imagination and creating your own destiny. I thank all of my supporters, family and friends.
