We had the good fortune of connecting with Meli and Chris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meli and Chris, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process was to create an experience that reflects how much Chris and I enjoy photographing couples. Photography itself as an art form inspires us so much, and combining that with each unique and wholesome love story that each couple have as part of their legacy… well, that combination is truly beautiful and swoon-worthy and we look forward to capturing each engagement, wedding, anniversary, and beyond.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We believe in capturing love stories through our art, which happens to be photography. We’re so excited for what the future holds for us, and we’re incredibly proud of each custom experience we create for each of our couples. Wedding photography is not easy, but we believe that with our help, each couple can have their dream wedding photos. We have mastered the art of candidly posing our couples so their look effortlessly beautiful while showing their unique personalities.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The days ever in Atlanta would would include:

1. A picnic or stroll at Piedmont Park in midtown Atlanta.

2. Enjoy a nice coffee or brunch at Cafe Intermezzo in midtown Atlanta.

3. Exploring the beltline and a little bit of shopping and eating at Ponce City Market

4. The Georgia aquarium is a must visit for all animal lovers!

5. A drive around downtown Atlanta to take in all the historic buildings and sights, then a delicious hotdog at Varsity before taking in the most beautiful skyline view from the Jackson Street Bridge!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I (Meli) personally want to thank my alma matter, FSU for showing me the intricacies and possibilities of photography. Especifically to my photography professor, John Mann, for teaching me the indescribable joy of discovering your own vision and photographic style. For teaching me to believe in myself even when others didn’t. Cheers to a lifelong journey of continuous learning!
