We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelly Delgago and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelly, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My son, who is now 3, had super severe eczema when he was a baby. He developed it when he was about 9 months old, and it covered it body from head to toe. I took him to several doctors including a dermatologist, allergist, and pediatrician. They all told me that my son’s skin was genetic and that he would have to deal with it for the rest of his life. However, I couldn’t imagine my little baby spending the rest of his life in pain, uncomfortable, and scratching. As a scientist, I spent about a year researching eczema, it’s triggers and causes, and any potential studies that had been done to give me more information on this condition. As a result, I was able to create the “Advanced Eczema Support Bundle.” This bundle allowed me to rebuild my sons gut and his skin. I have been able to help other parents heal their toddler’s skin as well, along with adults who have dealt with eczema for most of their life.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business name is KATEO Natural Solutions. The mission is for me to help as many people as possible with their problems by implementing a trifecta approach. I combine spirituality, science, and natural/ancestral aspects to create natural remedies. Before I start a new product or bundle, I pray over it. I also research a lot since I have a background in health science. This business unveils layers of me that I did not know existed, or that I ever thought I was capable of doing.

Growing up I had very painful cycles. From 14-21 I spent every month in pain due to my cycle. So, once I completed my science degree, I combined it with my spiritual nature and love for herbalism. As a result, I was able to create “The Balanced Woman” which balances my hormones naturally to allow me to have pain free periods. 14-year-old me would be so proud.

Next, it was my son’s eczema. I created the “Advanced Eczema Support Bundle” to heal him from his eczema.

My most recent project was my “Womb Support Bundle” for women with PCOS, Fibroids, and Infertility. I have been able to help women conceive naturally who previously had miscarriages.

There is always a new challenge or issue that I deal with within my business, but I always think about the long term healthy and positive effect I want to have on my community. There is a group of people who feel unheard, or who are ready to give up on their health goals. I am here to give them another glimmer of hope.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank my son first of all. He has been my inspiration for everything that I have done within my business. He has changed my life and brought out determination and dedication that I did not know existed. I would also like to thank his dad for being patient with me along the process. I know it was hard for him to see our son in so much pain, and especially when my son went through steroid withdrawals, he supported the long-term goal to heal our son. If he was not by my side during this time, I wouldn’t have been able to do it. Last, but greatest of all, I would like to thank God. I was given the clues to my son’s eczema from a dream. I prayed and prayed and fasted for a sign and guidance on this issue. I was given this vision spiritually, and I brought it into fruition in the physical realm.
