We had the good fortune of connecting with Bijay Chudal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bijay, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a decision fueled by a blend of passion, ambition, and a clear recognition of an unmet need in the market. Initially, the idea sparked from my deep interest in helping people and diversifying our entertainment world. In OG Verse we are working on a few projects, The World of Maya, it’s a project that will unite a fan first time in history, and it’s a project that will diversify our entertainment world. Second Nepali Nest is a tool that is needed for almost a million Nepali people living abroad. I noticed a gap in what was available versus what could be possible, and this realization sparked my curiosity about the unrealized possibilities.

The thought process was multilayered. First, it involved a thorough assessment of the current market, understanding what’s missing, what kind of tools will add value to people’s lives, and identifying how my skills and experiences could address those needs in a unique way. I asked myself how my vision could contribute positively not just economically, but also socially. The goal was to build something that not only generated profit but also created value in a broader sense.

The decision to start my own business came from a desire to innovate, make a meaningful impact, and bring a vision to life that I truly believed in. It’s a journey of continuous learning and adaptation, but one that’s incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are currently in the execution phase, and 2024 will be a pivotal year in our startup’s history. A few things have us enthused. One of these is my book “The World of Maya,” which I am in the process of completing. This book is unique as it aims to unite fans from diverse fandoms like ‘The Matrix,’ ‘The Lord of the Rings,’ and ‘The Avengers.’ It’s a fusion of worlds that promises to captivate a wide range of viewers. It has a lot of potential to become games, movies, or series.

Meanwhile, my wife is leading a unique project, Nepali Nest. This initiative is particularly close to our hearts as it aims to connect nearly 1 million Nepali families living abroad. Nepali Nest stands on the principle of bridging cultural gaps through innovative technology. So far there are not any tools like this, we’re developing that focus on providing an immersive learning experience in Nepali language and culture, leveraging AI to customize the educational content to suit individual learning styles. Once we succeed on Nepali Nest we will bring our educational content to global audiences.

Our journey began in early 2021, and it hasn’t been without its challenges. As we worked on various projects, I often found myself questioning the impact and uniqueness of our offerings. Are we making any difference at all? These reflections steered us towards our current path, which fills us with immense excitement and hope. The entire process was challenging; as the first investor in our startup, I committed all of my savings, and like with any start-up, my sister, a family member became our pillar of support. I knew going into this journey that this was the right course for us to follow; there were no surprises for us, and we were prepared, believing that one OG Verse would lead to the top brands in the world.

OG Verse Studio is more than just a company; we are cultivating an ecosystem. Our team is vision-driven, dedicating our efforts to sectors like health, education, and entertainment. Our ideas are not only robust but also geared towards creating a positive impact on people’s lives.

Having been laid off from my full-time job, I deeply understand the struggles faced by many professionals. This experience has further fueled our mission to create a work environment that goes beyond task completion. We envision a workplace where every team member feels valued and appreciated, recognizing that the time they are giving us is priceless. Our goal is to foster a joyful, empowering, and collaborative work culture.

To put it simply, we want everyone to know that OG Verse is committed to bringing about significant changes in both the industry and people’s lives. Come join the OG Verse family if you’re an investor looking to diversify your holdings. We’re not just building a business; we’re crafting a happier, more connected world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, my top priority would be ensuring they have an unforgettable experience. Being a bit of a chef myself, I’d start by welcoming them with a home-cooked meal, creating a cozy and memorable evening right at my place.

Once settled, I’d tailor the trip based on their interests. Whether they’re keen on urban exploration or seeking adventure, I’d craft a plan that aligns with their excitement. In Savannah, we have a nice beach, for dining, we’d explore some of Savannah’s finest restaurants, each offering a unique culinary experience, from classic Southern dishes to international cuisine.

A day trip to Atlanta would be fun, just a 4-hour drive away. In Atlanta, we’d dive into the city’s vibrant culture, visiting landmarks, enjoying the bustling city scenes, and perhaps catching a show or a concert if something’s on. We’d also explore Atlanta’s diverse food scene, from upscale dining to local food trucks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! The path to where I am today has been greatly influenced by a combination of guidance, support, and inspiration from various sources. First and foremost, I’d like to dedicate a major shoutout to the book “Think and Grow Rich.” This book has been a cornerstone in shaping my understanding of success and personal growth.

Another pivotal figure in my journey is my mother. She has been my life’s pillar, especially during challenging times. Her unwavering support and friendship have been my guiding light, and I attribute a significant part of my achievements to her love and encouragement.

I also want to acknowledge my wife, Ashley, for her incredible support. Her involvement and leadership in managing the Nepali Nest projects have been invaluable. Her dedication and insight have contributed immensely to our success.

Last but certainly not least, I want to recognize my sister, Samiksha Chudal. As our first investor and a steadfast believer in our vision, she has played a crucial role in turning our dreams into reality. Her belief in our mission has been a constant source of motivation and strength.
