Hi Marquel LaFlame, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk is important. The biggest risk is not taking any risk. I wouldn’t be where Im at today without taking risk.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Im a amazing DJ, Producer, & Artist. I just started rapping 4 months ago & already finished my first EP that’ll be dropping in 2024. I represent Carolina and Ill be the first major Hip Hop artist out of South Carolina. Im not one of these cap artist if you listen to my music you’ll hear my story.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We got to hit up Toast On Lennox the food is amazing.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom deserves a lot of credit for always believing in me, growing up whatever I wanted to do she was behind it 110%. I also read and learned from a lot of books like The 7 Habits of Highly Effected People by Stephen R. Covey and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.
