Meet Ashli Sneed | Metro-Atlanta Photographer & Blogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashli Sneed and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashli, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The key factor behind my success has been establishing and building strong relationships and trust with my clients and in their vision. I want to be known for creating iconic images that show their personality and character traits. Currently, I am known for my keen eye, professionalism and adaptability to each persons persona they are looking to capture. I network with everyone from small families to large weddings and celebrity events. What I have realized over the years is that no ones work is the same and my work speaks for itself. Relationship building is my passion.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I always find a way to relate to a client and what their expectations are. They usually do not have an eye for what they are looking to accomplish and that is where I turn photography into a timeless master piece. I easily capture emotion and and feeling that I turn into a visionary story. Capturing significant milestones or once in a lifetime achievements is amazing to me. I still can recall my first paid gig. I captured a beautiful couples union and I remember the couple and family like it was yesterday. They were such a nervous wreck that I pulled the bride into her dressing room and we made laughter for hours. Before she knew it she had a drink and was so supported, loved that she didn’t even realize her big moment was around the corner. She mentioned that she felt as she knew me for years and that she appreciated the distraction. She even joked that I could easily blow up the industry as a comedian. At that moment, I realized that day was my career was centered around bringing out the light in people around me as well as the significant milestones that would be remembered for a lifetime. Photography can be easy when you remember your purpose and contribution to those around you. Understanding that they are looking to you for memorability and joyous times can feel as a lot of weight on your shoulders. Shooting hundreds of persons in events and weddings can be tedious in the moment but once its all over you realize you’ve captured a unique aspect of some ones journey that gives you a sense of price and accomplishment that is unmatched. To overcome the challenges is to constantly keep a positive aspect and remember the big picture. Keeping an eye on detail and relationship building has always been my strengths. The lessons I’ve learned along the way are that no one is perfect but I have the ability to make those moments perfect and lasting. I’ve always been a firm believer that with hard work and heart you will always go far in life. I’m just here to show the world that as an artist behind the lens I would be more than happy to turn ordinary scenes into extraordinary moments. There is hidden beauty in everyday life that only you can see with the help of those around you.
