We had the good fortune of connecting with Princess Heath -Dawson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Princess, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was very simple. I and very intellectual person so I love to learn about different things and people. So when I took on the task of going to cosmology school, I became infatuated with how the hair grows. So I begin to do my research on what can help make the hair grow, so since I knew my mother was thinning and losing her hair, I came up with a formula to help her hair to grow. So what started as helping a family turned into me branding it and turning it into something my children can run when they get older.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Getting to we’re I am right now was not easy, it took a lot of hard work and dedication. I had to continuously promote, be my own marketing team, and my own brand ambassador. The way I over came a lot of my challenges was being consistent, I did not stop reaching out to different companies trying to get my brand in their stores and in the shops a lot of people may go to get their hair done at. I have learned that the more consistent you are the more people watch your every move. Eventually when they see the product really works and you are not just promoting just to promote or sale the a dram of longer hair they will purchase your product.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
