We had the good fortune of connecting with Gajjan Singh Punjabi Folk Trap and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gajjan, how do you think about risk?
I really liked taking risk because I didn’t really like the other choices. You have to get out of your comfort zone to see what you are capable of. Risk is the only thing that got me here where I’m at today. People with no experience and who haven’t taken any risk in their life will tell you Don’t do it. You have to be willing to loose everything to gain everything and that’s how risk works. We listen to others way too much and we forget who we are. When we were kids, we would take every risk and we did everything that we did not supposed to do and that’s how we learn. as soon as we grow up we get to comfort in our comfort zone and we don’t take any risk. Everything I have today it was all because of taking risk. Every time I made a move for businesses, music. people who were very close to me they told me not to do it, but me I always did the opposite and took risk. Now the same people ask me for advice or when is the new track dropping.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We brining you a new genre called Punjabi Trap, we are making a global impact with our music. We trying to bring cultures Together. We dropping some major heat this year. 8 tracks total. We have some major artist featured in our up coming songs. It ain’t easy coming up with no team and guidance. Working 3 jobs and still managing was the biggest challenge. I stayed focused and dedicated. I over came my challenges by not giving up but fighting back. Lessons I learned move forward, move slow if you have too, don’t stop or go backwards. Loyalty Respect and Encourage. You can’t keep dreaming about your dreams. You got to go out and go get it to make the dreams come true. Be true, be real then be a fake and phony.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love punjabi food. We would go to all my hidden gems. Naperville has some good choices of restaurants and some Tea spots. I’m all about health lately. Harvard small town, has one of the best burrito spots. Then I got my favorite spot called Devon. Indian market. We call it pind. Best sweets and butter chicken. After eating all that food we going to go burn some calories, play some basketball, run or go visit some State parks. Most people can’t keep up with me or my schedule. They tell me i do 10 people work all day.

Navy pier, sears tower, millennium park and then we would go eat at the Gold Coast maple and ash. Catch some cold ones.
