We had the good fortune of connecting with Anyae(Yae) Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anyae(Yae), is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
The time and commitment behind the scenes. Catering is not just cooking and serving food, there is so much more that goes into it.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner/caterer of Yae’s Eats & Catering LLC, specializing in down home southern cooking but i can do it all. I am mostly known for my Mac and Cheese and Smothered Turkey Wings. I am proud of how far I have come with all the obstacles that have been thrown my way for sure. What sets me apart from others is that even though this is a business and it’s how I support myself and my family, I don’t do it solely for the money, although the money part is great. I do it because I love it, it’s been a passion of mine since I was a teenager and  I also do it for my community. I love to give back and feed the homeless and those that are less fortunate. I also do my best to work with each client individually and actually care about what they want. I customize packages to fit all clients’ needs/wants. Our clients become like family afterward and I do my best to check in on them well after their events are over. I want the world to know that Yae’s Eats & Catering LLC is family owned and operated and cooks with so much love and dedication. We want to be around for years to come.
