Hi Monesha, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my brand is to Make others feel beautiful. Hair is my Passion and to me it is an Art. I keep my Services Affordable because I feel as though everyone that wears my styles are a walking reflection of me. My brand is based on Hair whether we are Extending it, Curling it, Braiding it or placing it in a Ponytail you are Walking fashion.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me aside from other businesses is the fact that I am a Queen who sees no Competition. I choose to want to be in my own lane with everything I do. I want to not only Teach myself but Educate others while Learning how we all can take advantage of a Quick hustle or a way to make income. In the Beauty / Hair Industry there is so many people in this industry its completely unisex. At Sistarz Beauty Salon and Spa you we are creating connections and giving off Great energy. You leave my business not only with a Hairstyle but a Lasting conversation that will tell you how to move yourself spiritually and also educate you on how to maintain your Hair at home. With my Apple Cider Vinegar Detox treatment (I restore your locs from any build up , mold , Dirt while leaving your locs light weight) You can get this Service alone without the hassle of a Retwist. For my Natural Hair Men and Women my Avocado moisturizing hair mask, Will embrace your natural Curls while leaving your Natural Hair Soft and easy to Maintain for styling even when you are home. I started out in my Apartment living room space Sistarz Beauty Salon had a Face before it had a Name now the name will Ring on forever. My Salon space is now Operating under “My Salon Suites” in Peachtree Corners Ga and I am always accepting New Clients. I was Established doing hair at 15 Years old and I am continuing to elevate my business with Hair care Products , Tools & Extensions. I have a Dream of owning a Hair school one day and I am just setting the Foundations. For Learning. I Offer Affordable Hair Classes and I am also willing to Teach the Youth ages (8-17). I believe that when you received blessings you have to Give them back. On Sundays 1 pm -4 pm i host Senior Hair Care Day and it is Free to the Elders (55+) with Limited Hairstyling. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I Have been working to really get Sistarz Beauty Salon out I have not visited the city. I Would Love it if more people can go to Takeoff (Migos Mural) Located in 4th Ward Historic Skate Park and Show this Wonderful soul Some love he was such a Pure Humble person and Deserving of All the flowers and Candles. I would take them to see the Uniqueness of the Georgia Aquarium the hosts are so knowledgeable about the Sea Animals and it is a Fun Date / Family Activity. I would also take them to visit the Atlanta Zoo and just Encourage them to just take a Walk in Nature to stay Rooted on this Earth. Abbott Lake Park in Gwinnett County has amazing Hiking trails.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to Dedicate this shout out to the one and only Kirsnick Khari Ball also Known as (Takeoff) Of Migos. Plenty of times I knew what I wanted to be but didn’t have the guidance to show me how to get to the top. I started listening and Analyzing Takeoff Lyrics and took the words to heart. 2016 was a Dark place for me dealing with Mental Health takeoff became my therapist. Thru his music he Taught me that its ok to be Original in a world where everyone wants to be the same, Its ok to put GOD first and most importantly love the Family that is close to you. I have 6 Siblings, Nephews and Nieces along with my Mother who is my biggest motivation. I remember hearing Takeoff lyrics from Tshirt. “IMMA GET THAT BAG MAN AINT NO DOUBT ABOUT IT UMMA FEED MY FAMILY MAN AINT NO WAY AROUND IT AINT GONNA NEVER LET UP MAN GOD SAID SHOW MY TALENT”. From there Takeoff became my Teacher. I was blessed to have met My favorite rapper in 2017, Received a Personal Meet & Greet in 2018 & at a Club appearance in 2021 and Each time he treated me like Family with knowing I am his biggest Fan he Remained Humble. We lost Takeoff 2022 which devastated me and put me back in the Dark place that his music brought me out of. Everyday I work just as hard as takeoff because I know he would want me and all the rest of his Fans to continue following God’s Purpose.
