Hi Paulette, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My passion for my job and the patients I care for is the most important factor in my success. It brings me joy to see the difference I could make in the lives of my patients, no matter how big or small.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My company, Pure Health Medicine, is a Telemedicine company that has been open for 2 years. Our services include weight loss management (diet, exercise, and/or medication), Acute Care (sinus infection, ear infection, strep throat, upper and lower respiratory infection, headaches, pinkeye, gout flare-up, etc.), Chronic Disease Management (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc.), Women’s Health (Urinary tract infection, yeast, infection, birth control, bacterial vaginosis, etc.) Mental Health (depression, anxiety, bipolar, and OCD), medication refill for non-controlled substances, electronic lab work (order and interpretation), etc. The best part is that we provide affordable care for all of Georgia’s residents and have a supervising Medical Doctor on board. We also accept major insurance such as Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Medicare, Medicaid, Humana, and United Healthcare. For those who don’t have insurance, debit, and credit cards are accepted.

What sets Pure Health Medicine apart from other practices is that we are a telehealth company that is convenient and easy to access. We also provide patients with same-day appointments which prevent them from waiting hours in the doctor’s office, navigating Atlanta’s traffic, or calling off work to get seen. we care about our patients and make sure that their voice is heard and that all their concerns/needs are met by the end of the visit.

I am proud of all the services we provide and the lives we have touched for the past 2 years. I am also most proud of our medical weight loss program as I have gotten to know my patient and feel so honored to walk with them on their personal weight loss journey. Not only is Pure Health medicine still growing, but we have helped hundreds of Georgia residents through our top-notch telemedicine service.

I got to where I am today through perseverance, consistency, patience, learning to overcome obstacles, and understanding that success takes time. I am always learning, updating, and finding ways to grow as a medical provider and business owner. Like most small business owners, unfortunately, the journey has not always been easy but I have learned from past obstacles and tried to enjoy the process. I overcame challenges by asking for help and advice from my husband and peers.

The most important lesson I have learned is that to continue to grow I have to stay up-to-date, developed, and continue to change with the industry.

I want readers and future patients to know that when they choose us, they will be treated like family and not like a number. We meet patients where they are and work together to reach their healthcare goals as we encourage patients to be active participants in their care.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I will take my best friend to Wineries in North Georgia, the painted pins or the printed Duck, shopping at the Avalon or Atlantic Station, and Atlanta Botanical garden. Savannah Georgia is also one of my favorite places to visit due to its history and amazing restaurant by the river walk. We can also go to Ponce city market, hike at stone mountain, visit the Georgia Aquarium, or places with live music/a piano bar on the weekend.

I’d like to thank my wonderful husband and supporter, Peter Jordan. There would be no Pure Health Medicine without his unending love, support, and encouragement. He motivates me to pursue my dreams every day, even when I am discouraged and ready to quit. From late-night appointments with patients to information and guidance, he is the first person I call because he constantly has my best interests in mind.
