We had the good fortune of connecting with Kierra Myers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kierra, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think risk taking is a must in life. You never know what an outcome will be until you take the risk to begin the journey to find out. Taking risk in my life/career has given me one of the greatest things that I feel life can offer and that’s experience. Taking risk, I been able to experience extremely good days as well as some bad and that’s what is constantly molding my character and making me the woman that I am today. Risk taking= rewards
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Career Doctor is all about career advancement. “Poverty is not our portion”. Helping my clients change their lives is worth every challenge I’ve endured. In 2022, I was able to help multiple people double & triple their salaries by helping them pivot into technical and non technical roles. Many of my clients came to me making less than 40k a year and now make six figures or are very close. It makes my heart smile being able to help someone change their financial situation. Running a business isn’t for the weak no matter what your niche is. I learned that life is truly a journey and we have to want the best for ourselves in every aspect. The Career Doctor is a brand that wants to help anyone of any ethnicity and from any walk of life.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would want to take them to Texas. Everything is grand in Texas! We love seafood and high end steak houses. My best friend and I can make fun out of anything so we would shop, visit museums, parks, and explore downtown. Some of the most fun, interesting, exciting places to check out would be random places we found out about through TikTok videos.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to the people that I love that I know genuinely loves me back. That would be my immediate family, friends, and my first love. Also a very special dedication to my grandmother Dorothy Brown, who is now resting in God. She instilled so many morals and values in me that I will forever give her credit for. If I could only be half of the woman she was, that would be enough for me!
