We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaz McNeal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaz, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thing is I never put much thought into it. I just know I didn’t want to work for the employer I had at the time anymore. So I had the skill and my dad gave me the funds.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have a wax studio, iBrows & Co Beauty Bar. I specialize in eyebrow Shaping and Brazilian waxing. I think my personality and talent set me apart. It’s fun and welcoming here. I’m a girl’s girl so I Liam to reflect that. I’m most proud of my longevity and growth. My clients f*ck with me and I’m so grateful for them. They’re really awesome. We grow together. I got here strictly off work ethic, consistency, reliability. There are always challenges being a business owner my dad tells me when there’s bricks thrown at you throw roses. Basically move through adversity with grace. I want to world to know I love what I do and I’m great at what I do and I want everyone to experience comfort and beauty in my presence.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I got this! Monday night we’re doing a chill dinner at Blue on the Ave followed up by a little hookah cause the gworls love hookah!

Tuesday is tacos and tequila! We’re definitely going to Agave Azul after that we’re headed downtown to Sidebar to finish the night!

Wednesday we would do Pilates class at Hili followed by dinner at Kres.

Thursday we would go to bites and bubbles in winter park for a little rooftop dinner vibe. And then better than sex for dessert.

Friday we can go bowling and then dinner at Eddie Vs

Saturday night definitely going to the strip club at Le Palace

Sunday is Sunday Funday we doing brunch at Bulla or the Porch and then bar hopping downtown.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s a podcast I listen to called “The Stranded Phase” by Jessica Hurley. I became an adamant listener to her story and motivation. She held a mastermind that I attended with no clue what it was. Needless, to say that mastermind exercise constructed everything I needed to do within 90 days to start my business. I did it in 19. So shoutout to Jess!
