We had the good fortune of connecting with NaQuasha Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi NaQuasha, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking plays a huge role in my career as an actress. I firmly believe without risk there will be no reward. Twice i took a risk and moved with no savings from Virginia to Georgia for my career because i believed in it so much and i inew that Georgia had more opportunities and that my risk would eventually pay off.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I Am an actress! I first came in to the field when i was a freshman in high school i was forced to take theatre after switching schools mid semesters do to some family issues. I initially didn’t like theatre because I’ve always been a shy and introverted person but it grew in me after i was forced to get up in front of the class and do a monologue and everyone loved it. My teacher told me i was a natural and the praise i was receiving gave me the courage and motivation to keep going and dive deeper eventually leading me to take it for three years because they didn’t offer a level 4 at my school!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m such an introvert i really haven’t been too much of anywhere since moving here lol so maybe that will change now that I’m meeting fellow actors in my classes.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my mom Taracia Lewis she has really persevered through so much in her life and still has so much drive and determination and although we don’t always see eye to eye she has always supported my passion and even sowed into it what she could
