We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Ericka L. McKnight and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Ericka L., what do you attribute your success to?
Our uniqueness to offer and deliver a service to people in a impeccable way! We operate and commit to the purpose, plan and process God has shown us. I tell my team all the time if it ain’t broke, let’s not try to fix it! Something’s are tested and tried to work every single time.

Our brand is successful because we are on one accord and work as a TEAM with no “I” in TEAM. We are all leaders striving to create other leaders who have the same desires as ours. We’re built on honesty, integrity and professionalism. Meanwhile, remaining humble and promoting our results from the clients.

What should our readers know about your business?
My real estate career journey started over two decades ago. After attending undergrad school I relocated to the Carolinas and had a terrible real estate experience. It was at this moment I was determined to sell real estate all over the world and represent people with the upmost respect, honesty and intergity. Treat people how I should have been treated!

As a result, I am one of the Top 100 Real Estate Agents in the US & Internationally, have earned some of the most prestigious designations in real estate in addition to numerous of entrepreneur awards. I’ve had the privilege of selling homes to first time buyers, building homes in low income neighborhoods, high profile celebrities and politicians. Leaving a legacy and building generational wealth!

With that being said, I’ve learned and continued to learn many lessons along the way.

1. Be your true authentic SELF & do what works for you

2.Embrace failure but rejoice about the outcome

3. Never over promise if you’re not gonna deliver.

4. Admit & accept when you are wrong and valid criticism.

5. Slow down & enjoy the journey, I promise it will be worth it.

The world should know, I am the epitome of the SUCCESS I’ve been able to impart into others. My journey was challenged and threaten from day 1. But I never lost hope in the promise God spoke over my life! As a result, my team and I teach real estate & entrepreneurial training classes around the world! It gives us great honor to know we continue to help others creat generational wealth!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
WOW! I am totally a traveling guru! Let’s start in Atlanta by visiting the Coca-Cola Museum. My favorite is the taste test, history of Coca-Cola and the scenery.

Boone,NC- Blue Ridge Mountains and Daniel Boone Park. We would stay in one of the beautiful lodge cabin, tour the mountains museums, hike and dinner at Proper.

Lastly, the outer banks in North Carolina. There is so much to do but this is one of the most beautiful beautiful beaches and tourist attraction in the world. We would have a oceanfront condo with full service access every day. Visit the Cape Hatteras light house, Avon Fishing Pier & Buffalo City Logs & Moonshine.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! God, family, friends and my fans! They keep me accountable and grounded. They encourage me to be the BEST version of ME and to always go with my first instincts. I’m so grateful and proud to have them in my life!

I also read continuously, excerpts of one of my favorite books “You are a BADASS, how to stop doubting your greatness and start living an awesome life.” By: Jen Sincero
