We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Davies and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Basically, my husband, Clay, and I risked everything to open Biggerstaff. It was a giant leap of faith that we had a concept and a product that would grow over the last year into a living, breathing entity. Biggerstaff started as a dream that grew to become a reality and it took so much bravery, grit and belief to get us to this point. We are so grateful for those who took the risk with us to be part of this special place.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Biggerstaff Brewing Company was born out of a dream to share our home brew beer recipes with our community, It tuned into something much bigger when we decided to become a Brew-pub and also serve food. Biggerstaff is a family name and we are a family owned business. The process of opening was long and hard, particularly due to the fact that we did it during a global pandemic. We took on the challenges one by one, day by day, and never gave up.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love the outdoor patio at El Tesoro for lunch. After that, a walk on the Beltline for people watching and sightseeing. Then, we’d head to Staplehouse for dinner and drinks in their back yard garden.

We want to dedicate our shoutout to our Biggerstaff community, which includes our amazing staff and our loyal regulars.
