We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Scruggs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, what role has risk played in your life or career?
This is a great question! Risk taking is what got me to where I’am today! I think life is all about taking a risk. You’ll never know the outcome of something until you do. I took some losses don’t get me wrong but big wins came out of taking those risks as well. I learned so much through it all! & most importantly it helped me grow as a business owner.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Creativity is in my DNA! I love to create and allow my vision to come to life. You can give me little to nothing and I’ll create the most jaw dropping content out of it.
One of the things that got me where I’am today professionally was by always being a student. Knowing when to talk and knowing when to listen.
My journey wasn’t always easy and still isn’t always easy today but it’s so rewarding. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I want the world to know my story! I’m a small town girl that chased after her dreams and currently living out my reality. Anything is possible and I want to somehow be a role model to those who can relate.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Me and my girls love to shop! So shopping is definitely on the list! Lol.
However I’m still fairly new to Atlanta so I’m still learning about the hot spots and the different things to do here. I can’t wait to experience it all because it’s so much to do here.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family deserves all of the credit! The support of them has pushed me even on the days I felt I couldn’t do it. Them stepping in when things get crazy or having a overwhelming schedule has been super helpful. Without them and the support over the years, none of this would be possible.
