We had the good fortune of connecting with Tristan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tristan, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
I think the best part about my career is that I don’t want it to ever end. I have a countless amount of goals I will accomplish on this ride and I don’t think any of them mark what would be the end of my career. I can’t imagine not playing, writing, or recording in some capacity at any point in my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I feel what sets me apart from others is my ability to make what I call “Pop Art”. Conceptually, my favorite art is both digestible to the masses and unique and forward thinking – this is what I strive to make.

I am most proud of and excited about the release of my first EP “Nomad” and the strides I have made because of that. I have only been singing for 3 years and I finally feel like I have completed the foundation of myself as a writer, producer, and singer.

I have worked and still work exceptionally hard and push myself everyday to be the best that I can be and I don’t think it always easy, but it always fulfilling and rewarding. I remind myself that I can overcome and challenges I face and I try to objectively and logically break problems down, without taking things too personally or emotionally.

There are so many lessons I have learned and I have so many people to thank for teaching me. I would say having a strong and healthy mentality combined with hard work will greatly expedite anything you wish to accomplish.

I want the world to know that I am here to make the largest possible positive impact I can through my art.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Haha, that’s a good question. I would say the obvious spots of course like The Belt Line, Ponce City Market, and Piedmont Park. Those are all great. Whenever I come home I always end up at the Village Burger in Dunwoody Village, I also love Rumi’s in Sandy Springs, and I would definitely like to end up at some local shows – I love the underground talent in Atlanta. Oh and Land Of A Thousand Hills Coffee in Roswell is a staple.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my high school music teacher, Drew Cohen. He always made sure I had the opportunity to be surrounded by music and never failed to provide guidance and mentorship whenever I asked for it. I attribute much of where I am now to the foundation he taught me.
