Hi Mrs, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Start your business with a plan. Just as a foundation has to be built for a house, a business needs a solid foundation and if you’re not willing to put in the ground work to start a business then the work needed to maintain the business will be lack luster. I think that one of the biggest mistakes that people make is they start a business because they want to be their own boss or make a lot of money. Even being your own boss, you still will have to answer to the demands of someone and just as you make money, unexpected business expenses can also eat away at your profit. Business Preparation is vital when starting a business

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Phancee started out as a business name but now is considered a Brand that does a variety of things. Phancee’ started out as a clothing boutique and for years our focus was styling women from head to toe. As a Business owner, its important that you can find other things to supplement your business income especially when sales start to decline. I was such a huge fan of Custom T-shirt’s and apparel that I self taught myself how to make custom tees and more which allowed me to not only offer just clothing, but clothing that had meaning and symbolized something. When running a business, you can’t be afraid to introduce something new to your brand. T-shirts is what changed my Financial Business Portfolio. Once covid hit, I closed my brick and mortar location and going mobile allowed me to be more flexible, cut overhead costs and expand my brand. Today I contribute my business success to being mobile and on the spot custom printing services I offer . This has help me even more acquire more new clients. What sets me apart is my name honestly but also the fact that we offer many services and I have a great referral system. This sets the tone for my business itself. You know that you’re going to have a Phancee experience. We have also added a Party Bus to the Phancee Brand which allows us to promote all our services and offer packages to accommodate the customers needs. With so many different businesses under my brand, of course there are challenges and to offset the stress that comes with those challenges, I think about the why of my business and that keeps me grounded. Everything that the Phancee brand does has the ability to enhance a person Physically, Mentally and Emotionally. I stand strong on a Mentally Healthy Lifestyle and my brand contributes greatly to that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Nashville has alot to offer and to make a person’s visit worthwhile, my first recommendation is Seafood! We are definitely going to Seafood Sensations to indulge in some of the best Seafood in the city. After I leave Seafood Sensations, I’m going to make a phone call to Ashley Gaddy, the owner of Donk’s Bar and Grill to indulge in some of their amazing adult beverages. Of course transportation will not be a problem because the Phancee Party Bus will be able to to take them to these great places which will also includes a tour of downtown Nashville. Its scenic and its also an entire vibe. You will find a mixture of Country, Rap, Blues and R&B mixed with cowboy boots, sneakers, and brides to be and bachelors preparing to be hitched. I definitely would not let the trip end without taking them to The Hungry Spot Jamaica in Murfreesboro, 30 minutes outside of Nashville for some great Jamaican food which will consist of oxtails, curry goat and chicken, peas and rice and many more of your favorite Caribbean cuisines.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to first contribute my brand recognition and success to my husband whom have allowed me to build my brand without any limitations and also provide me with financial backings to do so. I would like to give a special acknowledgment to my friends that have showed up with no expectations of payment, but as a support system to help me build my brand. It’s not everyday that you meet a Adrianna, Detoria or a Kisha that will come and work for you in the hot sun without knowing if they will be compensated. Then you always have friends that keep you encouraged like Dawn and Charlene These are people that have been around 10+ years. Lastly my customers that have spent the last 13 years supporting my businesses as well as referring others to patronize my business. This has not been a one man show, along the way, I have always had at least one person I could call on to help me with my business needs.
