We had the good fortune of connecting with Erika Harris Forrest and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erika, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
So I.T. is funny because it’s the one area that ousiders don’t know they need until they need it. Most people have some kind of idea of what it takes to start a business and have a business presence online, or how to buy computers and plug them up, but have problems when it comes everything that comes after that. Our services can pick up from there although it would much easier if you were to reach out before you get started. Information Technology is a consumer’s game; thus, most big named companies only see dollar signs when they are approached by new and/or small businesses. Think of us as the older sibling that you take with you to a car dealership, so you get the best deal, or the ones to get you out of a bad one. I have recently started a special interest project to help new and upcoming business gain visibility in the virtual world. It is my belief that if you start off right you can go farther.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Titanium 3 Solutions offers customers a competitive advantage in communication by leveraging the latest technological innovations in voice and messaging to create a complete communication platform for small to medium size businesses. I can honestly say there is no other company out there like us. Some companies can manage all your IT needs, but they can’t support your phone needs, on the other hand, the current VoIP/Cloud-based phone companies provide assist with the service, but they don’t support your network after they have you on board. We do both. Ironically, most businesses use this form of communication without even knowing what it is or how it works.

We really are the “Super Target” of Information Technology, a one stop shop.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

I love this question because my best friend does live in another state, and we like to get together in different states to do just that eat, drink and have fun.

With that being said, the last time we hung out here for her visit we really made a day of it. We had brunch at Nouveau at Broad Street, followed by a trip to the Selfie Museum and the Trip Museum. We had a late lunch at Crazy Crab in Tucker followed by karaoke and dinner at Gang Nam Style Karaoke in Duluth.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

There have been so many people in my life that have made a huge impact along my journey, teachers, aunts, uncles, and loved ones, however in this phase of my life I am most thankful for my friends. I am surrounded by some real Boss Black Women. My friends own Boutiques, Art Studios, Holistic Heath Care Shops, Well Care Facilities, Cleaning Services and more. When you are surrounded with that much boss chick energy, there’s no way you can lose. We support and encourage each other.

I would also like to recognize my husband, Glenn Forrest. He is the IT brain behind this company. I am only as good as my team member, and hands down he is my star quarterback.
