We had the good fortune of connecting with Shiann Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shiann, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I had to make was breaking the mold; of what was expected of a single mother.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started Enticing Nails LLC back in 2019. I am a traveling nail teach so due to COVID and my healthcare training I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant (cna) I know how important sanitation is and also the risk associated with COVID-19 so this is the perfect business for me! I get to render services and help people two of the things I love most in the world to do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would do a spa day at the Jeju Sauna in Duluth ga, We would go to brunch at Gotcha breakfast bar in Atlanta, Ga EVERY morning! Check out the Aquarium downtown. Visit the Esco Bar and the hidden gem Magnolia in College Park. Wouldn’t be a visit if I didn’t take her to Walter’s Soul food in Union City did I mention the Crab Hut and Ruth Chris Steakhouse? We would visit Splat paint room in Morrow for some fun art work

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother, she died from breast cancer in 2014, I was only 25 I was at the time in school studying to become a nurse while working full time and raising two children on my own. Her death was unexpected and a total shock to my family. But one of the last conversation’s I ever had with her I promised her I would finish school and make her proud. She told me she knew that I would. So you see I couldn’t let my mother down.
