We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Saner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was when my Aunt passed away. I wanted to do more than give flowers or make a speech, I wanted to honor her in a way that she would have honored herself. That’s when I birthed billboard buzzing. A good friend of mine by the name of Ernest Jackson ,the co-owner of billboard buzzing, suggested that we put her on a digital billboard. When I saw my families reaction to seeing her on the billboard I knew that this was not just a hobby, this was my calling and passion.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Billboardbuzzing LLC provide clients with digital billboards Nationally @ Affordable rates. We are all about customer service. We enjoy giving our clients that warm and fuzzy feeling.

What sets us apart from other billboard companies is our hard work, passion and dedication to our clients.
We pride ourselves on customer service.

I’m most proud of the accomplishments and the friendships that has been made in the industry. We have been featured in Hip Hop Weekly Magazine in their business section we have also been featured in Inspire today magazine.

We have an amazing billboard in Time Square on 42nd Street. On that billboard we have did billboards for Snoop Dogg, Jim Jones, battle rap Legend Cortez Bodega, black media honors award, the fibroid campaign with Cynthia Bailey, Musiq Soulchild, the group H-Town, hip hop artist Young Lyric, Fred the god, Mike Epps the comedian, social media store fat boy, DJ Magic, Biz Markie and the Harlem Globetrotters etc.

How did I get to where I am today? I would say alot of praying hard work and dedication. It wasn’t easy but having a great partner who is business-savvy as myself and a strong support system
Helped me through the tough times.

The lessons I have learned along the way is to never give up on your dreams even if it seems impossible.

One thing that I would love the world to know about me is that giving up is not an option. I have pushed through some of my hardest days with a smile on my face and God in my heart.

One thing I would like for people to know about Billboard Buzzing LLC is that we started this business to give small business owners a chance to advertise at an affordable price.
Customer service is everything to us and we value every client.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Houston so there’s so many different things to do downtown Houston. I absolutely love The Toasted Yolk restaurant we would have brunch their, and the drinks would be the mimosas. I enjoy a good spa day so I would most definitely take them to the Golden Spa (my favorite place to be). Then from there we would go to the rooftop theater ( very nice place) to see a movie of choice. We will finish out the night at House of Blues this place is great for entertainment food and music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I would like to give all the glory and honor to God who is the head of my life.

I would like to shoutout my business partner Ernest Jackson. Ernest is much more than a business partner he has became a part of my family. He is one of the hardest working man I know, and his Drive is unbreakable (I don’t think he gets much sleep). Thank you for being such a great friend God bless you my friend.

I would also like to shoutout my parents Karl and Darlene Saner. Their unconditional love and support for me has been so amazing. As a child you always look for your parents to support you in all that you do, I can honestly say that they have truly did just that. Thank you two for the constant support and also the constant reminder that with hard work and dedication you can achieve anyting.

I would also like to shoutout my four
siblings Karl Yancy, Dexter Yancy, Devine Augustine and Dominique Saner. My siblings are some of my strongest supporters as well in their own way they have all helped me achieve my goals for this business. When I think about my siblings one word comes to mind Unity. Thank you all for standing with me and being my whole.
