We had the good fortune of connecting with Saint Michael Adeniyi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Saint Michael, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
It can be very meticulous. As a model, knowing what poses, angles, and faces you want to portray in a photoshoot is everything. It can really make or break a picture so it’s good to be aware of what might work best for you, from the clothes you wear to the lighting in the photo. You gotta be confident.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Also, I’m most excited about what the future holds. I want to be able to look back 5, 10, 20 years from now and have admiration for what I’ve accomplished.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would tell my friend to go to Piedmont Park for a nice stroll. Ponce Market and the Beltline are some other places where I feel they’d have a good time exploring. As for best spot to eat at, it’s a toss up between JJ’s and Slutty Vegan (that’s just me tho)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate my shoutout to The Brooklyn Circus clothing brand. I started my modeling career in February 2020 after I applied to be in a fashion show that they were hosting in Downtown Atlanta. I got a message from the brand to come to the casting call a few days after I applied and, to my surprise, I was selected to be one of the models in the show. I was super nervous but excited to be in the show at the same time. I feel like I’ll always remember and be thankful for that event because it sparked my interest in fashion, modeling and photography more than any other time in my life.
