We had the good fortune of connecting with Janelle Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Janelle, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say that my big success started when I realized that I had to be my brand. There was a point that I did not want to be the face of my brand. I realized that people loved working with me, and it was me that they were buying into. It was my spirit, my personality, and my joy. I made them happy to do their business high motivated them to push themselves further. I was the reason that they wanted to work with my brand. It wasn’t because I had a beautiful logo or my fantastic website. No, they wanted to hear me speak. They wanted to listen to my thoughts. They wanted to know how I felt about their business and what they were doing because they related to me, my story, and my personality. So I think that my success started when I just started being myself. When I started showing people who I was and what I had to offer in my business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is unique because of the personality behind it. For the longest time, I didn’t want to show my personality, but I found that it’s a significant reason that people do business with me. When I tell my story about how I started my business in Bali and then traveled to 15 countries with a toddler and an infant, people want to know more. People say that I am brave for traveling the world with my kids while running a business and managing 5 to 10 contractors, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite place in metro Atlanta is Jeju spa in Gwinnett country. It is open 24 hours, and it is a fantastic place to get away from it all. In Jeju, there offer many activities and services. There is a restaurant, saltwater pool, and hot tub. The wet and dry saunas and igloos are excellent for mediation. They also offer spa treatments like body scrubs and massages. I could stay in Jeju for hours.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to Shout out Kemya Scott of the Marketing Sparkler. We started our businesses around the same time and she was and still is a motivational person for me.
