We had the good fortune of connecting with Diamond Elyse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diamond, why did you pursue a creative career?
I come from a musical background on both sides of my family. So, I’ve been singing since a very young age. In high school, with being apart of the music department, I was able to start orchestrating my own performances. Now, I pretty much always knew that I wanted to be a singer. But, after beginning to put on my own shows, I had even more confidence that that’s what I wanted to do as a career.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In addition to making music, I’m either performing, rehearsing, or providing background vocals for sessions and certain events. Thankfully, I’ve had my mother. She has a lot of experience in music, which has created so many connections that she’s put in my path for my career as well.
