Hi Marra, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk involves uncertainty about the effects/implications of an activity. The role that taking risks has played in my life/career, is the fact that it put everything into perspective for me as a Creative. I took the risk of leaving a full-time management job, where I made $20 an hour and poured myself into my art. It was my happiness and sanity on the line.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got to where I am today professionally because day by day, I have stayed loyal to my passion of being a Visual Artist. It definitely is not and was not an easy process at all. I overcame these challenges, but it still can be an everyday battle due to my depression, anxiety, and just adult life in general. The lessons that I have learned along the way are that some of your biggest supporters are people you do not know, KEEP GOING NO MATTER WHAT, and stay loyal to your passion. What I want the world to know about me, my brand and my story is that I create from the heart and that it will make you feel alive again with all of the amazing bursts of colors.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my Boyfriend, John Juan, My bestfriend Daraysha, and all my supporters.
