We had the good fortune of connecting with Carrie “Bri” Marshall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carrie “Bri”, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?

I was born in Columbus, GA but grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and spent my teenage as well as some of my adult years in Tucson, AZ. I came up with the idea for my business because I like to travel and always needed to cleanse the space around me. The cities/towns I traveled to didn’t have too many Metaphysical stores and if they did the energy was a little off. So I started ordering Sage, Florida Water and Crystals for me to carry with me.
Other people I met would always ask where I got it from and that is when I started buying in bulk and selling what I had. I am on a Spiritual Journey with endless possibilities and lessons. The merchandise I sell in my store are tools for others on their journey or for their lifestyle. With me being someone who loves helping others it gives me a chance to do what I love as well as live my life as I please.

What should our readers know about your business?

When people ask me what I do I tell them “I own a Treasure Chest,” that’s s when I get the weird looks. Lol I run a Treasure Chest, and and you come in you’ll be surprised at the amazing merchandise. Most Metaphysical Stores only focus on the basics; Sage, Herbs, Crystals and Candles. Well not only do I sell those I also am a Certified Yoni Steam Practitioner, a Certified Spiritual Coach, a Certified Tax Preparer and I sell clothes as well. I take pride in ALL my certifications: Manily because I did MOST of my accomplishments as a single mother. It isn’t an easy road as I continue to better myself. But I remember that my reason ”Why” is my kids; I didn’t want them to grow up and not enjoy life, or be able to simply have fun while I break generational curses.
I want the world to know that I’m just getting started. I am Manifesting greatness for RTC and I cannot be stopped.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came for a week I would have to take her to The Compound for some poetry, TRS lounge for a little fun. I would try some new restaurants and also see if a fellow business owner Danielle Patterson is cooking up something good. I would take her to Snatched Beauty for some girl time as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
February 2021 I lost my Father who was a BIG part of my life and my journey. He ALWAYS encouraged me to live the life I deserved &&I thank him for that. My mother has ALWAYS made sure she worked 2-3 jobs to support my brother and I. Without her there is no me, she also is my go to person in MOST situations I go thru. I am BEYOND grateful for my mom, brothers and sister. Along the way I’ve met a few people who have pushed me one including my Marketing Genius Jay Tee. My motivational sister Lola Andrews and my sisters of “The Circle.” The rest of my family is also to thank, Every type of support I got from them I appreciate.
