Meet Ragin Prunty | Model/ Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ragin Prunty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ragin, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I decided to pursue modeling because ever since I was young I’ve been told time and time again to model. I’ve always wanted to but I never had the self-esteem to do so. I’ve been playing sports my entire life so when I step outside of my box and started modeling it was new to everyone including me. Pursing modeling and eventually acting is really personal to me because its something I’ve wanted to do since i was young.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I consider modeling my own personal work of art. Each photo, video, reel, etc that I create; whether it be with a partnership, marketing, free lance, and sometimes single handedly, hold a sacred in my reperitoire of creativity. With my passion for makeup/cosmetics being the driving force behind expanding into modeling; I’ve learned that being true to myself, trusting my instinct, remaining a student of the business, aswell as being confident in every room I walk in are what has brought me phenomenal businness while also leaving everlasting impression with every business endevour. I am proud of where I am now and super excited for what’s to come. I feel my work has the potential of bringing diversity, organic network opportunity, and evolution to the business. I also feel my story has the potential the inspire others following similar paths. Getting to where I am has taken dicipline, resilience, consistantcy, and a countess nights of prayer. Though it wasn’t easy, these aspects are what have kept me humble, grounded, and motivated to reach newer heights. I’d like te world to know that my story is far from finished. My brand is continuing to grow thanks to all who support me and those who have assistted in its enhancement/development.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend were visiting the very first thing we are doing is go out to eat. Atlanta has the best restaurants in my opinion. We would get up early in the morning and go to brunch. I would give good choices to choose from. Some of the places I like are Toast, Breakfast at Barneys, even more, club places like Fin & Feathers, or BQE. Then I would take them to see a movie or go shopping maybe. Everyone loves shopping. There is plenty to do in Atlanta from Stone Mountain to Lenox Mall. Things like the High Museum of Art, Six Flags, Indoor Sky Diving, would even visit Tyler Perry Studios.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Thank you to those family & friends who have been supporting me nonstop. I love every one of you and I am very gracious for the support. Special thanks to my twin sister (Meagan Prunty) who I love dearly, for remaining in my corner throughout my journey.
