We had the good fortune of connecting with Sandra Monzon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sandra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
i love do braids and style hair since i was a little and I never thought of it as a business until after the pandemic started

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe that patience, dedication and discipline have been important to be able to carry out and create what I like, perseverance also because on many occasions I have had to do my hairstyles and braids many times, until they have been as I wanted, I have tried and tried many times, it has not been easy but when you have all this and especially one reason (for me my two daughters) you can go far

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Camping at Stone Mountain ,walking at Vickery Creek Falls Roswell Mill, Georgia aquarium and the zoo , probably eat at Marcelo’s pizza and chick fill A I love to cook so for sure I’ll probably try to make the food 😅

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am very blessed because since the beginning of my career I have had people who have helped me and some of them still and they are Meli and Vero from IG @laspitucas and Angela founder of IG @beyondtheponytail
