We had the good fortune of connecting with Roseheather “Latrice” Gatison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roseheather “Latrice”, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
One of the most difficult decisions that I’ve had to make was being ok with outgrowing people and leaving them behind. Knowing that everyone can’t go. Being in entrepreneurship is hard within itself. Many don’t realize how many late nights and early mornings one has to have. Not knowing if a deposit will be made or if you have to replace a sell. Instead many look at what’s publicly being shown. The glitz and glamor of success instead of the failed attempts to obtain success. They don’t show how friends become foes, how family is distant, how many envy, the lies, the deceit, the hatred that begins or the single fact that ones life is going on a different path. See I learned during my worst situation in life (back injury) that everyone can’t go. As I lost everything to include a six figure income, store front, temporary mobility and almost my mind i noticed who people really were. Some will leach off of your success and talk about you like a dog if you fail with others. When you keep trying to bring the wrong people on your journey to your destiny it can either hinder you, create failure and or ruin opportunities.

What should our readers know about your business?
How did you get to where you are today business-wise.

I actually realized my passion after assisting a cellphone business and dental office in Columbus, GA. Wanting to organize, lead, prioritize, analyze, reconstruct, market and consult other businesses was birthed around 2011. I noticed I had a gift of walking into businesses and knowing off the bat what needed to be fixed or could increase their income. Unfortunately, I injured my back in 2014 which placed a major standstill on my business endeavors. While in my healing years I grabbed a few white boards and began to plan my vision. Everything I placed on my vision board I began to accomplish in little to no time. I completed my Lean Six Sigma free of cost and met a host of A list individuals that assisted me into pivoting my career into another level. In all honesty where I am today is only yet a tip of the ice berg. We currently service Entrepreneurs and Corporate Employees with more to come. My expertise is in business consulting, analytical thinking, lean process improvement, marketing and structuring. I continuously promote growth withing my organization to include obtaining new skills, certifications and additional degrees. I pride our growth in remaining transparent, ethical, honest and dedicated.

Was it easy?

Heck no!! I still have a ways to go. Fear can have you in a stuck place for awhile. I still have walls to tear down and a list of goals to accomplish. One in which we are working on now. One lesson i’ve learned it you can’t take everyone’s suggestions and advise. Sometimes it will have you sinking when you should be swimming.

how did you overcome the challenges?

Prayer… I often sit to myself and shut my mouth which is very hard to do when you are a socialite. I pray, fast and write my goals. Currently, I cry to my daughter, best friends (males and female) and God father. When you have a strong calling over your life your test are huge. Some one would want to commit suicide over. Your life normally is attacked in several different areas to include: business, children, health, finances, spirituality, relationships, mentally, friendships, etc. The test that i’ve endured may have killed many but yet I hide my tears and press through with my strength. I can honestly say that my faith has been my strongest force to overcome all challenges. No matter how bad it looks I always have what I call “stupid, crazy, dumb faith!”

What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way.

The lessons i’ve learned:

(Not to eat off of everyone’s plate) – Everyone don’t always mean you well.
(Keep your eyes on your own vision) – We all have the same 24 hours in a day. BUT, our paths are all written different, with different goals, times, accomplishments, failures and connections.
(NEVER LOSE FAITH) – People will think you’re crazy for having unrealistic goals. Don’t feed into the hype or advise of the naysayers. Anyones dream can become reality.
(You can have whatever you like) – Even when others don’t think you deserve it.
(They need you more than you need them) – People will try to make you look needy during your growth process. Always remember they need what you are gifted with.
(More money more access and at times more problems) – Choose your access correctly and who has access to you.
(Silence is often mistaken) – In order to grow sometimes it takes silence and hidden movements even from those you love. Some things blossom best in the dark.

What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

I want the world to know that I’m a Speaker, Author, Tax Professional and Chief Business Consultant. I previously defeated a major organization that tried to undermine me. I took a major loss and keep walking into blessings. I defeated racism and beat the stigma of what the expectations of a being a black woman in today’s society should be. Visionaire Academy LLC, is a Global Business Consulting and Training firm that is becoming a household name. We move with diversity, equity, passion, transparency and knowledge. I have expanded the business consulting sector of Visionaire Academy LLC, to include Executive Coaching, Talent Optimization, Financial Analytics, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and to offer government contracting/grant opportunities in hopes of bettering today’s workforce. I understand the assignment that business is bigger than me. My goal is to continue to kick through major doors supernaturally for those that need a nudge or guidance. I’m very results driven and have proven success building strategies that reduce cost, lean processes, increase incomes, exposure and assist in retaining employees. We’ve serviced clients in many sectors of business to include attorneys, magazines, the beauty industry, corporate employees, marketing professionals, virtual administrators and more. We have a phenomenal success rate of increasing incomes and turning mental wheels to expand ones desires.

I want others to know that they can have, accomplish and do anything they put their minds to. I also lead a group on Facebook called ” Girl Let It Go.” it motivates women spiritually, mentally, financially, emotionally and mentally.

I would like to dedicate my current success to a few people. My daughter Jakayla Comer (Upcoming Entrepreneur) has been my backbone and strength. My Godfather Grady Whitehurst is a dedicated man of God that wipes all my tears. Monika Thornton (Founder of Powerful Beginnings Non Profit) she will NEVER let me throw in the towel. Last but not least my push partner Stephen Addison (COO & Owner of Eleven Eleven Enterprise). This combination ensures that my dreams are coming into reality. After losing out for years in life, it’s crazy how God will place everyone into position.
