Meet Bettina Abbott | CEO & President, Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bettina Abbott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bettina, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Bettina Elizabeth Inc. family of companies was born out of a passion for seeing small businesses achieve their goals. It all started in 2012 with the creation of Osisis; a consulting and digital design firm that specialized in helping entrepreneurs and small business owners from underrepresented communities expand their business presence online. Something, that at the time, very few had access to. A lot has changed over the past 9 years, but many still are in need of professional design options for their business that are affordable.

Fast forward to 2020. The year the world shut down due to Covid-19. Disparities between the treatment of businesses became glaringly clear. To help close the gap, Crebul Limited Co was born because all businesses deserve the chance to start building business credit to help their business have access to whatever it needs when it needs it; no matter their race, religion, orientation, or gender.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In the previous section, I explained about BEI. We were created to help those who do not always have the same opportunities when it comes to starting and operating a business. What I am most proud of is that over the years, our passion for helping those who need it most has not lessened. If anything, it has grown.

Business-wise, I have arrived where I am now by never giving up on myself. Even if a break was needed to regroup, I never gave up. Running a business is never easy. A lot of work is going to be required one way or another. It is up to you to decide though, is it worth it? If you answer yes to that question, then that should be all the motivation you need to keep pushing forward because when running your own business, you have to be able to be your own cheerleader. Every morning, or at least most mornings, you should be able to wake up and say “it is worth it.”

I implore all aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners to not give up on themselves because Bettina Elizabeth Inc. will not give up on you. We are a minority-owned, women-owned business that was started from a mompreneur. Trust me, when I say I understand adversity, but trust me when I also say you can overcome.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To be honest, I could not answer this question for the ATL area. I moved to the area right before Covid-19 made its debut from Las Vegas, as such, I have not been able to explore and get to really know the area at all.
