We had the good fortune of connecting with Julian Smart-Rimple and we’ve shared our conversation below.

It has not been an easy road by any means! The main struggles that we’ve had to overcome is juggling a 9-5 job previously while trying to start and run a business part-time. It takes ongoing trial and error and being diligent at setting aside daily time blocks to work on the business goals and vision. Also, not getting burned out by doing too many things at once versus outsourcing through paying or asking for assistance, is a must! As a business owner, educator, and financial coach, it takes patience, discipline, foresight, and consistent team development to make your vision or dreams become a reality.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first take them to Ponce City Market to have tons of delicious options to eat from for a nice breakfast or brunch. Then we would swing over to Little 5 Points so they can get an indy feel of walking around in order to see what an indie Atlanta arts district feels and looks like. Then we’d probably go to Sevananda the health food store oasis in Little 5 in order to get some fresh herbs and wellness products. Then I’d take them to Dulce Vegan and Arden’s Garden in Kirkwood to get some freshly squeezed juices, ginger shots and vegan desserts. Then I would take them to Auburn Avenue to go by the King Historic Center and tour the Auburn Avenue area. After touring for awhile, we would catch a bite at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. Then we would end the day with taking the streetcar to travel around downtown to see the street activities and events happening around the ATL.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate my shoutout to all the royal kings and queens out there who are our youth and bright, young shining stars and who aren’t afraid to shine bright by going against the grain and the status quo. The books that changed my trajectory in life was “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George Clason, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and “Complete Guide to Money” by Dave Ramsey. All of these books are jewels that have propelled me along my journey towards financial freedom and being an international, transformational leader. For all the support that I’ve received from my close friends and family of supporters and fellow shining jewels over the years, the success of this journey goes out to you…bless up!
