We had the good fortune of connecting with Myles Phillips and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Myles, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
The habits that helped me succeed was staying locked in and true to myself. My group and I want to make it somewhere and we know what we want. You can’t sit and lay down all day and expect everything to come to you. In my mind there are things that I want to get and accomplish and I know I won’t be able to get to that point If i’m just laying around. Stay locked in and stay focused! Make a clear point that you’re trying to reach and go for everything you already claimed.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Where I am now, I’m still growing and developing into a better and different creator. It’s not easy because a lot of investments are needed. Sometimes you don’t have that support from the closest people to you so you do it on your own step by step. The lessons I learned is that everything isn’t easy and as you start to really focus people start to fade away. Even your closest friends. I want the world to know about Still Locked In because one thing everyone should know is, when you put your mind to something you can do anything! That’s exactly what my group and I did. We are a versatile group that stays true to themselves no matter the situation. SLI was also made for long term success. Imagine how it sounds when you made it together.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Atlanta so of course we would go downtown. There’s a lot of low-key things to do ATL you would just have to look for it. I’m a sneaker head so of course we would have to hit my favorite shoe store Hype 24/7. Cumberland Mall and Little Five Points are my favorite places to go. Little Five Points is my absolute favorite because the vibe and energy is different. I’m a spiritual person so I can go to the crystal shops out there, there’s great fashion options, and great restaurants. It’s just different all around.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My group Still Locked In (Brodays)! Those are my brothers and this group was in the making for some years. LuhTef and I talked about doing this for years and we’re finally here. We’re on top soon!
