Meet CASH | Artist, Producer, Singer-Songwriter and Fashion Designer.

We had the good fortune of connecting with CASH and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CASH, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I believe that I have provided them with self confidence and self esteem. If they don’t hear it from anyone else, one thing that is a guarantee is that my son will be addressed as a king and my girls addressed as queens. I constantly tell them how smart they are and assure them that they can accomplish and conquer anything in this world that they put their mind to. I always tell them how proud they make me and all of these things teaches them the value of personal responsibility and self-discipline.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So I’m an overall creative but if you must put me in a box, just call me an artist. Though I specialize in rapping, I’m a producer, singer-songwriter and designer as well. I don’t limit myself to a certain genre of music, I just produce whatever my heart moves me to produce and that may end up being a rap song, R&B song, pop song, a song for another artist or a dope t-shirt! Lol. That’s what makes me unique, my versatility and quality of what I do. I remain authentic and stay true to myself and that’s what I am most proud of because there was a time when I tried to fit in but now I stand out and I’m fine with that.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Most of my friends are laid back individuals like myself so I wouldn’t plan anything too outrageous but you can never go wrong with city life and city lights so I would definitely take them downtown ATL so they can get a view of the city. I’m a lounge type of guy so we would probably hit up the M Bar, Suite or Red Phone Booth, then I definitely have to show them my home, College Park. Hit up Big Daddy’s on Old Nat for some soul food, the Mexican for some good margaritas and I gotta take them to American Deli for some mild lemon pepper wings and a peach and fruit punch mix and then the waffle house and last but not least I have to put them up on Slutty Vegan. I can go on and on though, Lol.
